At Cotización Web, the privacy and security of our users' information is fundamental. We are committed to processing personal data only for the purposes necessary to provide our services and in accordance with the applicable personal data protection laws.
Data provided directly by users, such as first name, last name, phone number and email address, may be used to create and manage their account, provide the features of Cotización Web, respond to requests for information and send communications related to our services.
Cotización Web does not sell or trade its users' personal data.
Google and Gmail integration
Cotización Web lets users voluntarily connect their Google account to use certain features of the platform, including signing in and sending quotes and other communications through Gmail.
Depending on the features used and the permissions authorized by the user, Cotización Web may access or process the following information:
- Email address and basic information associated with the Google account needed to identify the user and manage their access.
- Access token and refresh token, used to securely establish, maintain and renew the authorization granted by the user to Cotización Web.
- Information about the validity and expiry of the authorization tokens.
- Information needed to carry out the sending requested by the user through Gmail, such as recipient, subject, message content and the documents or quotes attached to the message.
Access to Google and Gmail is used exclusively to provide the features requested by the user within Cotización Web.
Cotización Web does not use the information obtained through Google APIs for advertising, commercial profiling, creditworthiness assessment, sale of information or any purpose other than providing or improving the platform features requested by the user.
Gmail integration
Connect your Google account securely to send quotes directly from your Gmail. Cotización Web uses the permissions granted only to carry out the features you authorize within the platform. You can disconnect your account whenever you want.
Use of Gmail to send quotes
When a user connects their Gmail account, Cotización Web uses the authorization granted to allow emails to be sent from the user's own account.
The platform will only perform these actions when they are initiated or authorized by the user within Cotización Web.
The Gmail integration does not change the ownership of the messages or of the information in the user's Google account.
Storage and security of Google data
Authorization tokens and other information needed to maintain the Google integration are stored securely while the integration remains active and they are needed to provide the feature requested by the user.
Tokens are stored using encryption mechanisms, and technical and organizational measures are applied to prevent unauthorized access, loss, alteration, disclosure or destruction of the information.
Cotización Web limits access to this information to the systems and authorized personnel that require it for the operation, security or support of the platform.
Retention and deletion of Google data
Cotización Web keeps the information obtained from Google only for as long as necessary to provide the features authorized by the user or while the Google integration remains active.
When a user disconnects their Google account from Cotización Web, stops using the integration or requests deletion of their data, the access tokens, refresh tokens and other Google data stored specifically to maintain that integration will be deleted or invalidated.
Deletion will take place as soon as technically possible and, in any case, within a maximum of 30 days from the request or disconnection, unless a legal obligation requires certain information to be kept for longer.
If backup copies containing previously stored information exist, that information will remain protected, will not be used for operational purposes and will be deleted in accordance with the normal backup replacement or deletion cycle.
The user may also revoke the authorization granted to Cotización Web at any time from the security and connected apps settings of their Google account. Revocation will prevent Cotización Web from continuing to access the account through that authorization.
To specifically request deletion of information associated with the Google integration, the user can contact contacto@cotizacionweb.cl, indicating the Cotización Web account and/or the associated Google account.
Once the request has been processed, Cotización Web will delete the corresponding data, except for information that must be kept to comply with legal obligations.
Deleting a Cotización Web account
The user may request deletion of their account and the associated personal data by contacting contacto@cotizacionweb.cl.
When a Cotización Web account is deleted, the credentials and tokens associated with the Google integrations will also be deleted or invalidated, except for data that must be kept for legal, contractual, accounting or security reasons.
Sharing information obtained from Google
Cotización Web does not sell, rent or trade information obtained through Google APIs.
Information may only be shared when strictly necessary to provide the features requested by the user, with the user's explicit consent, for security reasons or when required under applicable law.
We do not allow third parties to use information obtained through Google APIs for advertising, profiling, data trading or any purpose other than the authorized features.
Compliance with Google's Limited Use Policy
Cotización Web's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data obtained through Google APIs is used exclusively to provide or improve user-facing features within Cotización Web and for the purposes the user has authorized.
Cotización Web does not use data obtained through Google APIs for personalized advertising, retargeting, sale of information, data brokering, credit assessment or training artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Information provided directly by users
What do we use the data you provide for?
The personal data we collect when a user creates an account, uses the platform, requests information or contacts us will be used only to provide the services requested, manage their account, provide support and keep Cotización Web running.
Do we give this data to other people or organizations?
Cotización Web will not sell, assign or distribute personal information collected without the user's authorization, except when necessary to provide the service, with the data subject's consent or when required under applicable law.
Can I control the use of my data?
The user may request access to, correction, deletion or restriction of the processing of the personal data provided to Cotización Web.
Likewise, where applicable, they may cancel commercial communications they have previously authorized.

Third-party links
The Cotización Web website may contain links to sites or services operated by third parties.
Once the user leaves our site, Cotización Web has no control over the policies, privacy practices or security measures applied by those third parties. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies before providing personal information to those services.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
Cotización Web may update this Privacy Policy when necessary to reflect changes in the platform's features, legal requirements or the conditions applicable to Google APIs.
When changes involve a substantial modification in the way we use data obtained from Google, we will inform users where applicable and request the necessary authorizations before using that data for a purpose different from the one originally disclosed.
