Purchase and work orders
They accepted. Now it has to be bought and done.
Two documents come out of the accepted quote: the purchase order you send your supplier and the work order your team works from. Nothing is retyped, they're generated — with the items in place and linked to the quote they came from.

It's not three modules. It's one system with three documents.
The quote, the purchase order and the work order run on the same things: your catalog, your customers and suppliers, your statuses and your template. Learn one and you know all three, and whatever you change underneath applies to all of them.
Quote
What you offer
Purchase order
What you buy
Work order
What you deliver
Your catalog
The same products and services, with their code and unit.
Your customers and suppliers
One profile per company, with its full history.
Your statuses
The same engine, with its own path for each document.
Your format
Your brand, your numbering and your template on all three PDFs.
The purchase order talks to the supplier.
Supplier and contact, purchase prices, discounts and the right tax, in another currency too with its exchange rate. It goes out as a PDF in your format, stores the invoice number when you pay it and stays linked to the quote it came from.
The work order talks inward.
No amounts, because it isn't a commercial document: customer, assignee and due date. Whoever carries it out knows what needs doing and by when. And it's the same record with the same tabs as the one above: only what needs to change, changes.
How many are done, how many are left and what they add up to.
The same list shows as a table or as a board, and it's the same board you already use for your quotes. Drag an order from column to column to change its status, and each column totals what's underneath. The statuses are yours: rename them, color them and order them the way your team works, for each type of document.
And everything else an order needs.
Internal comments
Notes your team sees that never travel in the document, with a record of who read them and when.
Change history
Every order keeps who touched it, what changed and at what time, in the same tab as your quotes.
Your numbering
Your own prefix and sequence for each document type, and a different template if you need one.
Purchases in another currency
The supplier bills you in another currency and you see the document in yours, with the day's exchange rate.
Copy an order
The purchase you repeat every month is cloned with everything in place, and you only change what changed.
Archived, not lost
Whatever you delete goes to the archive and can be restored when it turns out you did need it.
Just need the document?
Before setting up the whole process you can issue a purchase order or a work order for free, as a PDF and without creating an account. It gets you through today and shows you the format you'll be getting later.
